Waxing
A beauty treatment in which hair is removed from someone's body by covering it in a thin layer of warm wax than is then pilled off.
We all have excess or unwanted hair on at least one part of our bodies. Luckily, body waxing is a quick, easy and affordable way to get rid of it. Our highly experienced therapist will do their best to make the process as quick and less painful as possible, using two different type of wax: soft and hard.
Soft wax, also known as strip waxing, is used by spreading a thin layer of the warm body wax on top of the skin. This is typically used on larger areas of the body, like your arms and legs. It is applied directly onto the skin by using either a wooden stick or a roller. Then a strip of cloth is put over it and pulled off, removing hair.
Hard body wax is typically used for smaller, more sensitive areas including the upper lip, underarms and bikini area. This type of body wax is applied warm, directly onto the skin. It is given time to cool and then harden, and is then pulled off in the opposite direction of the hair growth. A benefit of hard types of wax is that they only bind to the hair, never the skin. The process tends to be less painful than soft body wax and can be applied multiple times, with no damage to the skin.
